When your trainer says, one more rep. You can do it! It’s up to you to believe you can. It doesn’t matter how motivational a person or an event is. It is ultimately up to absorb the information and take action. There are lots of things that have touched my heart, but very few of those things moved me to action. Not because I am a heartless person, or the cause wasn’t worthy or noble enough, but because there wasn’t anything of value in it for me. That’s my go to question in any situation. What’s in it for me? You know what I am talking about. We are all looking for a pay out. We all have something in us that creates that call to action and moves us to act. The “it” that makes us want to jump up and give everything we have. Whether if it’s in the gym, church, school, or being a citizen, the “it” moves us to act. If your not ready to give everything and take full advantage of whatever opportunity before you, it’s ok to wait and say I’m not ready. But when that moment comes and you feel anxious, excited or nervous. Never look back. Dig in, take a deep breath, and give it your all!
